Interrompu 07:04
I have been interrupted for too many a time ever since I was a child. Spaceships to be constructed and mountains left to climb, a longing for running wild. Then I was interrupted by youth. All that I ever started, all that I wanted to do has had to to be cancelled for I got interrupted to soon. I want to rewind, I want to start all over again, bring things to an end. I‘ve been trying for so long to put up with the fact that there could have been so much more. Even writing the lyrics to this song proved a most tedious act ... ... j‘étais interrompu encore. Yes, I was interrupted again. All that I ever started, all that I wanted to do has had to to be cancelled for I got interrupted to soon. I want to rewind, I want to start all over again, bring things to an end. Don’t you interrupt me!

You think that you‘re so smart because of all the things you learned at school and from the guys that told you how to be cool. You walk around and think it‘s all at your command but you‘re a fool – I tell you there is more to do. Hear the raindrops fall down on the leaves of a tree in the rain and listen to the smell of the pretty picture. The time has come for you now you must make a choice and be true. It‘s for your future – consider what you will do. You can keep telling you that everything‘s all right but you‘re a fool – I tell you there is more to do. Hear the raindrops fall down on the leaves of a tree in the rain, smell the pages of a book while you read the day away. See sunlight burst through the clouds that fade on a rainy day and listen to the smell of the pretty picture that you can only paint in your mind. Hear the raindrops fall down on the leaves of a tree in the rain, smell the pages of a book while you read the day away. See sunlight burst through the clouds that fade on a rainy day and listen to the smell of the pretty picture that you can only paint in your mind. You ride around in your fast car through an endless night – near the speed of light. No time to waste for you have to make a live worth living for but to me it seems that you‘re dying for. You see things that you are longing for, always something new especially made for you. No time to talk ‘cause you have to make all the money now but have in mind you can‘t take it to your grave. Listen to the smell of the pretty picture... (hear raindrops fall) Listen to the smell of the pretty picture... (see sunlight burst) Hear the Raindrops fall down on the leaves of a tree in the rain, smell the pages of a book while you read the day away. See sunlight burst through the clouds that fade on a rainy day and listen to the smell of the pretty picture that you can only paint in your mind.

Listen up, this is Severn speaking, she‘s been talking to you since 1992. I saw her on the TV. She was just an ordinary girl but what she said was so enlightening – simple but true, those words were long overdue. And you all sat in silence. What then did you decide to do, as you heard her? Did you reflect on changing the things she was asking of you? Listen up, this is Severn speaking, she‘s been talking to you since 1992. It‘s more than 20 years now, since you have silenced all the world, but still today we are in need of someone like you that we can still listen to.

Wasting Time 08:52
I‘ve been told not to waste time since I was young, to care about what‘s relevant, turn my back towards the fun. I never knew what this was meant to mean the point of the distinction still remains to be seen. I‘m so good at wasting, I excel in wasting time. Reading other people‘s thoughtful thoughts. Taking part in inspiring talks. Clean those hands from all the chalk. Still my head is full of weird ideas, better save them for another year. Retirement is near. Procrastination – be by my side, help me to fight all obligations. Help me to tell wrong from right. I‘m your social network, I‘m there at your command. You can stop me anytime you want but I‘m pretty sure you can’t! I want to distract you. Don‘t underestimate what that‘s worth. Instead of doing something meaningful you‘re scrolling down to the center of the earth. Procrastination – be by my side, help me to fight all obligations. Help me to tell wrong from right. Nothing on the TV, thumb is turning sore from flicking through those channels. There‘s nothing worse than being bored. Won‘t somebody come and free me? I‘m sick and tired of doing the chores. Day-in, day-out the same old routines – won‘t somebody tell me what I came here for? The morning after the night before, wishing that it was still dark. That sound you heard there in the distance, ‘twas no nightingale but the lark. With eyes half closed you lie there wondering whatever happened to your precious time while you‘re mourning in the morning, forever blaming bottles of red wine. Procrastination – be by my side, help me to fight all obligations. Help me to tell wrong from right.

There comes a time in our lives when we all want to know: Can we take all of this seriously? Or are we acting our parts in a show? Sometimes nothing seems to go right and we‘re drowning in sorrow and grief. This is when all the desperate ones tend to turn to religious belief. But life is too wondrous a thing to conceive. There‘s just no seeing through. No-one knows what‘s ahead of us, are we being deceived? Sometimes life‘s too good to be true. No-one asked to enter this life but here we are anyway. So we‘re trying to make the best of it day by day, day by day, day by day. But life is too wondrous a thing to conceive. There‘s just no seeing through. No-one knows what‘s ahead of us, are we being deceived? Sometimes life‘s too good to be true. The meaning of life has been googled a billion of times. Yet still there is no answer to it, at least none that rhymes. For thousands of years people have tried to figure it out and I‘ve got this sinking feeling my time‘s running out. What ever comes to pass, whatever shall occur – life, it can be best explained, it can be conveyed by metaphors.

Life is a river that grows and grows with every drop of rain. It comes from the mountains and it flows to the sea and it always can find it´s way. Life is an ocean that rises and falls with ev´ry turn of the tide. It is deep dark and blue and like a silver screen when it´s lit by the pale moonlight. Life is a spinning wheel of fortune. Will we ever know where to go? Life is an endless chain that roots in our hearts and our souls. Life is a desert that‘s full of sand and the sun is burning hard. You may stumble and fall. skin your knees and your soul but get up and make a new start.
